2008 Event RecapPosted at 07:00:00 AMThe 2008 ABA Summer Nationals proved why this event is considered one of the best ABA events of the year. Racers, both professional and amateur, families, fans, and friends gathered at the Oak Creek BMX Track in Roseville, California to watch the great races.
On Day 1 in the Girls Pro it was who else but Alise Post finishing in 1st place, with Dominque Daniels finishing behind her to take 2nd, and Stephanie Barragan placing third. On the Men’s side in the AA Pro Race Khalen Young beat out Steven Cisar to take 1st place, Jarrett Kolich finished behind Cisar to finish out the top 3.
On Day 2 in the Girls Pro, Daniels and Post switched spots with Daniels finishing in 1st and Post in 2nd. Barragan took 3rd. In the Men’s AA Pro, Khalen Young had another great race and once again finished in 1st place. He beat out fellow GO211 Team Rider Joey Bradford, 2nd place. Jarrett Kolich followed up his 2nd place finish from Day 1 with a 3rd place finish on Day 2.
