Well it wasn't too hot at the Summer Nationals. It was actually pretty pleasant on Sunday. The weekend went well for me with a win in AA Pro on Saturday and a second on Sunday behind Maris Strombergs. A big congrats to Gavin Lubbe for taking the win in A Pro both days. Also props to my little buddy A.J. Hiatt for getting 4th and an impressive 2nd in 15 expert. Tony Hoffman just missed out in the A Pro quarter on Saturday but made the main on Sunday. Ended up 7th but was riding well. Rob Riofrio got a 4th on Saturday in 36-40 expert and got ran off the track on Sunday. He's so hungry for another win he decided to go to Salt Lake City this weekend...he just can't stay away from the nationals.

Saturday's main event over the first roller. If you get a chance to check out the video, watch KY and DR in lanes 1 and 2 down the first straight. They kept running into each other. DR with the definite weight disadvantage won that battle anyway. KY probably thought a fly kept trying to get in his armpit.
Podium from Saturday. Myself, DR and the Latvian Machine.
