The 9 year sponsorship deal between BMX Rider Chad Kagy and DC Shoes has come to an end. Kagy says his contract will not be renewed due to DC making major budget cuts.

One thing is for sure, it couldn't have been do to lack of performance. Kagy's having a great year, he finished 2nd overall in the 2009 Dew Tour's BMX Vert competition and picked up a Bronze and Silver medal at this year's X-Games.
