POC, a leader in helmets and body armor protection for gravity sports, signs Anthony Napolitan to its ever-growing Receptor Team. Napolitan has been a dominant force on the BMX circuit since becoming pro in 2005 with his 2006 AST Dew Tour Dirt Championship performance.
Napolitan, 22, was born in Youngstown, Ohio and currently resides in Woodward, PA where he trains with fellow POC athlete Daniel Dhers at the world's top BMX facility, Camp Woodward. In the few years that Anthony has been a professional BMX freestyle rider, he has had consecutive podium finishes. Last year, Anthony came off from an early season ankle and shoulder injury to take bronze in the X Games for BMX Big Air, as well as two third-place finishes in the Orlando and Portland AST Dew Tour.
"I am really excited to be a part of the POC Receptor Team," says Anthony. "My helmet is critical in going big and my Receptor Flow helmet is the perfect weight that keeps me confident and comfortable."
Anthony will sport POC's new Receptor Flow helmet, a more ventilated and lightweight bike helmet. The helmet features POC's advanced shell with an EPS liner, similar to the Receptor + helmet. The adjustment system provides a simple way to customize the fit, allowing the helmet to stay comfortably place. Look to see Anthony and Daniel Dhers at the Playstation Pro, October 16th-19th in Orlando Florida, the fifth and final stop on the Dew Tour.
