BURLINGTON, VT (January 3, 2008) – The Burton Global Open Series announced today that live event webcasts will be available on Go211.com. Webcasts will feature the halfpipe and slopestyle semifinals and finals at the Burton European Open Snowboarding Championships taking place on January 11-18, 2008 at Laax, Switzerland.
Go211.com will be providing cool interactive technologies, such as producing the entire webcast in Adobe Flash, with live scoring, live standings, rider bios, and a live chat, where viewers can submit comments to the web announcers, as well as communicate with other webcast viewers from around the world. Live morning shows will kick off the finals for both halfpipe and slopestyle competitions by recapping the semifinals action and interviewing riders.
