As said earlier, Crap Sogn Gion’s Superpipe, high above Laax, experienced heavy traffic today. After witnessing crazy maneuvers and incredible runs from most of the riders, I wouldn’t wanna be a judge to cut the line beneath the 16th male and 8th female rider on the result list.
It’s no surprise that 2002 Olympic gold medalist, Kelly Clark, is in the lead for the ladies’ Semis, leaving Clair Bidez and Cheryl Maas behind for 2nd and 3rd. With fellow finalists, Linn Haug, Manuela Pesko, Torah Bright, Sina Candrian and Hannah Teter, we can expect Friday’s Halfpipe Finals to make its mark in women’s snowboarding history.
On the men’s battlefield, the first three spots go to Finland’s air combat crew, Malin, Mattila and Auti. For full results from today’s Halfpipe Semi-Finals, visit our RESULTS section.
Thank you for flying BEO Airlines!
