Jamie Bestwick, BMX rider/GO211 Team Pro, finished in first place at the Panasonic Open, in the BMX Vert contest. Bestwick put together clean runs with amazing tricks. He should the fans and other athletes his complete repitoire with an alley-oop downside whip, flairs, and tailwhips. He beat out Chad Kagy (2nd) and Simon Tabron (3rd) by nearly three full points.

Fellow GO211 Team Pro and BMX Rider, Jay Eggleston, was injured in practice and chose not to participate in the finals.

The Panasonic Open is the first stop on the AST Dew Tour.
