56. So I hear that you have feet with nasty toes? Whats up with that Hammer foot? from: Tim DingerDinger, I would definitely like it if you would actually take a good look at my feet next time you see them. They are actually not too shabby. You see, before I never took care of my feet because they were always in the gymnastics room, full of chalk drying them out, getting cuts, ripping nails....but since gymnastics ended...i think you might be surprised. Lee doesn't mind them anymore either...(he even painted them...which means he had to touch them!!) haha |

45. Do you think riding a Street (freestyle) bike around town will help me with my racing ability???
Or will riding my Race bike help more??? from: Sammy StraderI think riding any bike to practice your skills will help. Freestyle riding is definitely going to give you more bike handling control but you want to keep riding your race bike on the track as well to keep up your speed! |
|
44. Where do u see yourself in the next ten years in this sport? What are your future goals? from: smash120500My goal with riding is to get a medal in the 2012 Olympics. After that, if BMX remains in the Olympics, I would probably go for another round or two of it. However if not, then I would probably scale back on my personal riding and just ride pro at the ABA nationals and what not while I furthered my education to go into the medical field. I think i'll stay around BMX for a long time though, whether it be riding, teaching clinics, coaching, or being the event doctor. |

43. You have got to be the most fun loving female pro that I know. How much has your family played in making you who you are today? Love your mom and pops. Thanks for keeping me in your graduation celebrations with me being so darn far away. Miss you guys! from: DeannaThanks Deanna!! of course we couldn't forget you... but anyways... Without my family I know the only place I WOULDN'T be is traveling the world training for the Olympics. Their continued support over the years has made me the motivated, successful, and confident young gal I am today. It's no doubt that most of the opportunities I've gotten are because of them! |

42. To my buddy da Beast!
When it comes to training at the track how does your schedule go? Is it all first straight practice, 50% full track? I see so many riders practice the track with no real training outline. Recovery between laps always seems to be a sour point as I don't think enough attention is given to this. from: DeannaIt all depends on the training day. Some days are specifically just for skills and I don't even get a gate. Some days it's all gates and first straights. On others it's full laps. Whatever the day's purpose is, I train for at 100%. Sometimes on skill days I might not actually GO 100%, but I will give it my 100% effort to get better at new (and old) things on the track. if that makes sense??
I agree that rest isn't taken seriously enough. i always thought the more you rode the better you'd get...which is true when you're 8 with all the energy in the world. however, as you get older the rest gets mor important as you want to train your body/muscle memory at 100%. Quality over quantity. |

41. do girls wear cups when they ride? Because any one doing the shit you do has some cahonas! from: Nate Yeomanshaha sometimes I think that would be a good idea!! lol...but if the guys aren't even wearing 'em....pretty sure the girls shouldn't be!! |
|

I am very happy with my switch to a very well respected team with a nice big pit area at every race!! =] i have been racing for 12 years now, and I've signed a lot of jerseys and what not in that time so i'm not going to lie...it's a little hard to remember signing your specific jersey!! what did you donate the frame for again?? |
