are you really awesome at karoke?
from: Kelly Clark
I doubt it, but then again I've never done it. Let's just pretend I'm not until I prove everyone wrong, that way I don't let anyone down.

if you were not a bmx'er what you be doing?
from: Kelly Clark
I have no clue. Perhaps, I would have gone on with my other loves of gymnastics or dancing. Or male modeling, I should try out to be a male model. ;)

Do you still get the Kids rate at the Buffets?
from: Sut'Dog
Sutter, you know I haven't had to pay for food my whole life because "Kids always eat free."

It seems a lot of your fans visit your GO211 member page. What do you think about GO211?
from: Billy
I love Go211.com. How many other places can you seriously get in touch with some of the raddest athletes in the world?

As a BMX Pro-did you ever think you would be calling yourself an Olympic Athlete?
from: Billy
I'm still not able to call myself an Olympic athlete but, no, not in a million years did I think I would ever have the chance to be in the Olympics because of BMX. I'm definitely not going to complain about the opportunity...

Best of luck with the Olympics! Do you do much down hill, XC or road riding at all??
from: CLITUN
Well thanks. I tried doing 4-cross a few years ago and actually won my first race, but then the second race I broke my collarbone and that was enough to make me not wanna ride MTB anymore. I do little road rides once a week but that's it. I guess if I wasn't a BMXer, being a roadie would be my second choice.

You're a pretty straight edged guy. Let's say Absolut Vodka wanted to sponsor you... full pull. Do you do it?
from: James
Nope, I couldn't. I've spent my life never drinking or smoking, so taking a sponsor like that would go against why I don't do those things- so I could be the best role model I know how to be and do all I can to ensure success in BMX and life.

Do you believe in Santa?
from: James
Of course. I believe in Christmas, so Santa is part of the deal.

How much money would it take for you to rock a mullet for an entire season?
from: James
$5,000,000. I wouldn't be able to get any sponsors or many fans after I did that, so I would need money to live on for a while. Haha.

What's the most frivilous thing you've ever spent your money on?
from: James
I seriously don't spend money at all. I still wear the same clothes to the gym that I got in 7th grade. One pair of shorts in which I hit a car with and ripped the leg, but still continue to run. I guess in hindsight it would be my MX bike. Went out, spent $7g on it and rode it 4 times, 4 years ago. Bummed.

I'm always down for a good round of name association. What's the first thing that comes to your mind when I say the following three names: Matt Pohlkamp, Mike Redman, and Kyle Bennett.
from: James
Matt Pohlkamp- The only guy that the whole AA Pro class will admit is a great looking guy! Haha. Mike Redman- A major reason why I'm so psyched on the sport of BMX Racing. Kyle Bennett- A great friend and threat to me winning.

Tough question but I'm asking it anyway...How much of an influence was Mario Soto on you?
from: James
Only you would know to ask these questions James. Mario and I were close. Of course he was older than me, so I was still a little kid to him, but we had an understanding and knowledge of what our goals were and what it was going to take to reach them. I looked to Mario for nearly every move I made in BMX. I've been trying to carry on his legacy the best I can since he died in '01.

You've had some amazing rivalries...I still remember how you and Danny Harper used to go at it in amateur. Without saying "everyone", who would you say is your biggest rivalry in AA?
from: James
To me or everyone else? For some reason people think Bubba Harris and I have one going, but I don't think so. We turned pro at the same race and have had some good races, but that's it. I don't have any on-going rivalries. If someone does me wrong on the track, I might look to get them back. I don't hold any grudges after I get even. Haha. You should ask my dad this question, he has had way more rivalries with other dads and pros!

Dude, I saw you riding a pop-a-wheelie down vendor row at the ABA Grand Nationals Tournament. You must be sponsored! How do I get sponsors? I think I should be because I finished third overall in the Prunedale BMX Fall Local Series in my age classification of 17-24 Novice and then signed an autograph after my third race. Sponsors love their riders signing autographs, AND, podium finishers which I AM and have no plans of stopping. Its not that I cant stop its that I wont stop! I also beat 2 kids who were older then me. One of them was 18 and the other was 21. If you dont believe me I can send you the video its on Youtube. My goal is to win the overall series next year and if the two kids who finished ahead of me turn expert I hage a legit shot as long as CJ turns expert before he turns 17 and moves into our class. Yeah dude, let me know what you think and if you can get me a factory sponsor for next week. Thanks dR Donnald, later guy. Peace
from: Joey Bradford
Well, Joseph, you are correct about me popping a wheelie. That is one thing sponsors love- a show off, and I'm a perfect example. Haha. Sounds like you are on the road to major victories and sponsorship. I know a guy they call JoeyBradford.com- any relation? He just took 3rd in a moto at the Race For Life. Keep up the hard work and you might become pro someday. I'll check your YouTube video but you should post it on Go211 instead.

Why is your nickname/moniker small d big R?
from: Tricia Byrnes
Well, this announcer (whose kid I have raced since I was like 10) started calling me dR about 8 years ago and it has stuck with me ever since. When I had to start typing dR, it never looked good as all uppercase letters and if I made it Dr then people would think I was a doctor or something, so I decided to be a little creative and make the d lowercase. No deeper meaning to it other than I thought it looked cooler that way haha.

What is your favorite thing about competing in BMX Racing?
from: Tricia Byrnes
I can't pick one aspect of the sport that would be my favorite. The traveling, friends and opportunities all make me so thankful to be a BMX Racer.

Do you ever ride park?
from: Tricia Byrnes
The only thing I do in a park is play on the swing or in the sand. I would love to get better at riding park, but I don't think it's going to happen haha. I am so jealous of and have so much respect for the all the park, dirt and vert riders because they are such good athletes (especially the multi-event riders) and not many people know how much dedication and skill it takes to do what they do.

What are you most looking forward to going into the Olympics?
from: Tricia Byrnes
The challenge. To make 'The Team' would be a great achievement and I'm not the only rider that wants a shot at the Gold Medal, but for sure you will see the mentally and physically strongest riders make the U.S. team. But what an amazing opportunity we have to even have a chance at going to the Olympics! The Olympics is my dream and I'm going to take everything in on this road to Beijing. Can I use that phrase or is it copyrighted? Haha.

What would people consider your greatest accomplishment and what would you consider your greatest accomplishment?
from: Tricia Byrnes
I think most people would say my biggest accomplishment is succeeding in BMX Racing. I have always been the smallest rider on the track and from day 1 the majority thought I would never make it as an amateur or pro because of my size. I hope my greatest accomplishment hasn't come to pass yet. But my most prized accomplishment thus far would be winning the BMX Racing Olympic test event in Beijing in August. That was the first step in possibly realizing the dream of an Olympic Gold Medal.

Where are some sweet Donny Robinson dance videos?
from: Tricia Byrnes
I think you can see them at DonnyDancesLikeALittleKid.com haha. I haven't done any choreographed dancing in many years but I wouldn't mind uploading some of my vintage moves and parodied skits my friend and I did. This will be in the secret stash on Go211.com.
