39. How are those nike clip shoe?
from: Danny Caluag
Nike made some sweet clip shoes for BMX. They feel good but more importantly they look good and style is what it's all about right?

38. How does it feel to get a medal?
from: Danny Caluag
It feels amazing. I hope I can hang it up someday in a nice case. To have been in the Olympics was great enough, but to have a little momento from it is even better.

37. What steakhouse did you go to on the food network?
from: Danny Caluag
I don't know what steakhouse I was at for the Food Network show I was on. It was in Chicago but that's all the info I got for you Daniel. Seriously, Natalie and I walked in there to meet people for lunch and the show just happened to be taping there.

36. So when is the "Wedding"? Will you still have time to train with your fav 7X???LOL We love you kids! Good Luck!
from: SethPonciano
Haha not sure when I'm going to get married, my girl wants November and I agreed, but November of 2012 haha.

35. Who's your favorite 7X rider...lol Thanks dR for your help and support you ROCK!
from: SethPonciano
Me when I was 7. I was cute and fast.

34. whats ur biggest injury
from: shredhead
Broken scaphpoid in my wrist in 2002. Out for 4 months.

33. what age did u get sponsored
from: shredhead
I had my first sponsor when I was 6. It was USA Wheel Sports. Albeit only a local team that didn't give me much, it was a starting place.

32. what age did u really get into racing
from: shredhead
6 years old. Really.

31. whats your greatest trick ever
from: shredhead
I think I almost landed a truck-driver a long time ago. I try to stay away from tricks and work on the flow and going fast.

30. what are your sponsors
from: shredhead
Hyper Bicycles, Monster Energy, Go211.com, Kicker Audio, at&t, Nike, Tioga, Tektro, Sinz, FLY Racing.

29. Besides asparagus. What else do you like to BBQ.
from: Pepsi Racing
Nothing. I've devoted all my time to mastering the art of asparagus.

28. What bike is your favorite?
from: redlinepro
Well, redlinepro, I guess my name should be HyperPro because my favorite bike is Hyper. I rode for them in 1994 too so I have some loyalty to this company.

27. Donny, Are you and Coach G going to do anymore clinics this year like the one you did at Desoto? We would be interested if you do another because we were out of town for the one here. Thanks Clay
from: mrziggie
I hope Greg Romero and I do more clinics. It was my first one I did with him and it was really fun. You should hit him up on his website and see if he's going to plan more.

26. Whats it like working with sponsors like Nike, AT&T ,Kelloggs and McDonalds?
from: Josh Patton
Waaaayy cool. These corporations are so pro. You know have to worry about anything with them. They are successful for a reason and you can see it's because of the great people that work behind the scenes. Free food and clothes don't hurt either :)

25. Was there alot of papazotize (idk if that how to spell it) out side your house after you got bronze?
from: Josh Patton
Sure you meant "paparazzi," but unfortunately no. Hope someday I'm important enough to warrant TMZ to follow me around haha.

24. Congrats on all you've accomplished, Donny, we are all very proud of you! My question is: I heard you run larger front & rear gears- we have tried the smaller(41/15, etc) and my son is way more comfortable on a 48/18(on 1 3/8)- is this setting him up to fail? His track speed is good but he is fighting through the pack out of the first turn- doesn't seem like he is spinning it as fast as a smaller ring size- same roll-out. Also, he is now on 1.5's and I want to set him up so I can quit changing gears. Thanks Donny!
from: bodie
Going to 1.5 tires was the hardest change I ever had to make. I believe I was running a 50/18 or 52 I can't remember. I always have ran hard gears, but everyone is different. With the larger ring'ed gears you can run a harder ratio without it feeling as hard. So you can run a 54" rollout and it will feel easier with bigger ring gears, which means you'll get more out of your pedal strokes. Get him a speedometer and stopwatch, this is the best way to find the best combo. It's time to test and stop guessing. Try all the different combos on 30, 60, 90, 120 yard sprints and then of course do full laps around running tracks at schools.

23. how do you go so damn fast
from: mark mulville
I wish I could joke and say steroids but the doping control officer would show up every day this week to make me pee in a cup. You know the drill: hard work=success (and a little luck doesn't hurt either).

22. Do you ever do any clinics/camps?
from: Tori Dains
Yes, although not as much anymore. I like to put effort into my clinics and make them great and that takes a lot of time and energy, so if I don't have the proper time to prepare I just won't do them. I hope to get a few in this year however because they are fun.

21. Whats the craziest thing thats happened to you with a fan?
from: Tori Dains
A guy who totally liked me saw me at a race and had all his friends come to the track and they painted their body with "We love dR" and stood in the stands and then after the race he came up to me and gave me a cake (cuz it was close to my birthday) it was pretty crazy. Believe that? Haha well I'm just kidding. Actually nothing real crazy has ever happened. I know a bunch of girls have made me gifts and stuff but that's about all. Another good question though.

20. What is your diet like?
from: Tori Dains
Before races it's healthy with the pasta and potatoes and steak and veggies and oatmeal. After the races it's McDonald's, Hershey, ice creams, I love all that stuff.
