How important is making the WCT and how much do surf contest dominate your year? from: Tricia ByrnesI am gone about 10 months out of each year traveling and surfing around the world. Making the WCT is my number one goal. Although in between each contest I am jumping to and from video and photo trips. As exciting as contests are, I also need a balance of fun free- surfing trips to keep my mind from going coo coo.
Which do you like better shooting photos or doing contests? from: Tricia ByrnesThat's a great question. I enjoy both! To me a contest is much more challenging to prepare for, and I love a challenge. haha. I work really hard at mentally and physically preparing for a contest months before hand. It is really satisfying when I get a good result because I know that I did my best to train for that moment. Although, most of our contests are held in really bad waves. The flip side of shooting photos is you are probably in a warm, tropical environment where the waves are perfect. So to sum it up: I would like to surf a contest in perfect waves, while getting photos at the same time.........and maybe we could do a raffle with GO211.com and a few lucky ladies get to come along too!!! hahahaha. owwwwwwwwww
What is up with the whole nudity thing? Are you really a naturists? from: Tricia ByrnesI have no idea. You see, I have never been in the nude....... but if I had, I guess I would say that everything feels that much better when you ditch the suit and tie!
