BMX cover boy Brian Kachinsky, is answering the Who? What? Why? Where? And How? from the GO211. So ask the owner of some of the most creative costumes on the planet anything and everything, street, park, bull riding or boy bands. Fire away he's all yours...... |
18. Tricia mentioned bull riding and boy bands, is this a hobby of yours? from: angela29yes, and that's just the tip of the iceberg! |
17. Are you going to win 100grand in Dubai? from: Chad DeGrootI wouldn't bet on it but if I do you're going to be the first to get a sandwich... this one's on me! |
16. You have a pretty smile...thanks from: Chad DeGroot*ting* |
15. have you ever done the mega ramp from: Alexi Macounope, it looks wild though. Not really my cup of tea though, watching it is a treat for sure. |
14. What is your favorite tricks? from: Alexi MacouMy favorite tricks are probably the ones I can't do. I think a properly clicked turndown or good 360 invert would be two that come to mind. |
13. who's is your biggest inspiration in life from: Alexi MacouMy biggest inspiration are people who do their own thing. I can't narrow it down to one person but I can say that my earliest experience with this (and current) is my dad. He's been self-employed for as long as I've been alive. I've seen the ups and downs of that and how much hard work it is. Seeing that hard work is inspiring. |
12. why do you BMX? from: Alexi MacouI used to think that I rode BMX because it was the coolest thing on earth. I recently came to realize that I only started to take BMX seriously when my croquet career didn't really pan out. I've pushed the wicket aside and replaced it with handlebars and handrails. I don't regret it one bit. BMX is awesomerER than anything anyways. |
11. do you like to compete? from: Alexi MacouI like to compete from time to time but I don't take contests too seriously. I like to do good at contests but if things don't work out i'm not going to let that ruin my day. It's always fun to ride good but if I ride below my standards that day I'll be bummed for five minutes and then will have forgotten about it five minutes later. It is a fun challenge to do all your stuff in a contest setting and sometimes contests give you that extra push to do something you've wanted to try. |
10. who is your favorite skateboarder? from: Alexi MacouGeoff Rowley is probably my favorite skater. I met him randomly at a school in Cali once last winter and he was super cool. He's also a savage on a skateboard. Greg Lutzka is also rad and is from Wisconsin to that makes him extra cool. haha. |
9. Have you ever rode a bike in the snow? from: Alexi MacouGrowing up in Wisconsin it's not out of the question to have snow on the ground for at least 1/3 of the year. I have definitely rode in the snow and even carried a shovel on my bike when I was younger so we could still ride our favorite spots. The last time i rode in the snow was in Estonia last January when I was there for Simpel Session. I rode street in Tallinn one day when the weather was "tolerable". There's some photos on my page that printed in Dig from that day. It was cold but well worth it! |
8. dude I've never seen someone fall as much as you and walk away from most of them, but anyway, I see you doing lots of nose manuals to nose grinds, which is the raddest rail tricks ever! but what is your favorite rail trick? from: Josh PattonNosewheelies on rails is probably my favorite trick. The feeling of connecting to the rail and firing straight down it while leaning over your bars is probably the best feeling but if you miss your wheel, its the worst. I have a love/hate relationship with that trick. It it really works or really doesn't, not much in between. haha. |
7. Park or street? What's your favorite thing about riding each? from: Tricia ByrnesPark is fun because its generally smoother and a bit less taxing on your body. Street is great because of the adventure and self-sufficient factors. When you're riding street you are out exploring and making due with what you happen to stumble across. On a perfect day i'd like to ride both. |

P from: Tricia ByrnesPilsbury Dough Brian is retired, as is Paul Bunybrian and Popeyeinsky. Those were some good ones though. My Richard Simmons costume was a bit revealing. I still don't know what i'll be this year. I need to figure that out soon. Any ideas for me? |
5. What would most people consider your greatest accomplishment and what do you consider your greatest accomplishment? from: Tricia ByrnesI'm not sure what others would consider my greatest accomplishment. I guess possibly my video parts? I've had some good contest finishes before but those aren't as often. I guess you'd have to ask them.
My greatest accomplishment would be just still being able to ride my bike every day and ride bikes with some of my best friends/heros and be able to ride with them in all corners of the globe. That's my biggest accomplishment. |
4. Who are your influences? from: Tricia ByrnesMy parents, my friends and Forrest Gump. |
