15. What kind of lock is most secure for the front of convenience stores?
from: tom stober
a muscle lock. Stand there and show your pipes...another good lock is the "flinch" method. When someone looks at your bike, just flinch them with your head or fist...that will scare the crap out of them...then steal their wallet or something...

14. Explain your current relation with flatland, the riding part and your outlook on it in its current state..dont hold back...Also..Are we EVER going to get a baco DVD Box set? That shit would make u a millionaire right there...
from: Qman
Currently I am riding every once in awhile. Not as much as I should for sure. With a new child and juggling another 2 year old and a skatepark is pretty tough. Truly, when i have shows to do, I get out there everyday. So if you know anyone that needs me for a show, i would be on my flat machine daily getting ready for it. Wish I could ride everyday. Each time I go out new moves are getting crossed off my list. There are a few links that I will be taping soon. Got a few on tape for the Profile video which should be out next year. So to answer you, yes I ride, and no I don't ride enough. As for the baco box set, wow, that one is pretty necessary and every once in awhile I will light a fire up under Dave Freimuth and Chris Rye........with no luck. It will happen, promise

13. i think your rad and you make me miss the wi scene. have you ever had to get a non bmx related job and how did you get the money to build and run a park/ shop on bmx money? do you have health insurance? aflac? you must get paid a lot to ride bikes.
from: btownallen
I do miss the Wi scene as well. Just got back there filming for Mega Tour 9. It was awesome, best time of the year for sure. Working since I was 12. Let me give you a small list of my jobs: Dishwasher, bus boy, room service, pizza delivery, dishwasher, pizza assembly, dishwasher, pizza delivery, doing studies, paper boy, characters at Disney, warehouse product counter, and a janitor. I get the money to run a shop and skatepark from customers...although most don't pay, it still helps to pay the bills. Health insurance is a must and I do recommend it. What I make to ride a bike is pretty small, what I make to run a team is a little better, and what I make from judging and doing shows helps as well. There are a bunch of things I do on and off my bike that all add up and pay the bills. I am not afraid to hustle on eBay as well...holla

12. Why you got a gay guy mustache?
from: Greg Smee
Guys tend to comment more on it that women. Old women love it and have to touch it and say something about how handsome it is. Some people call it a dick duster. I would have to call it my lifestyle. You gay? you hitting on me? you work for me...

11. Bacon?
from: Tricia Byrnes
bacon, coffee, bacon, oatmeal, bacon bacon baco deco.

10. Is your lambo gonna be blue or green after Deco blows up?
from: Chris Duncan Clothing
Not sure, might do a raw with a clear coat look. What about CDC? what are you gonna buy with all those iron on shirts your gonna sell from me pluggin CDC all the time?

9. Whats the most money you ever one in a singe game of c-lo?
from: tom stober
I wanna say $400, I do know there were a few 100's and some other smaller bills... That was sweet, ohh my that was sweet. Gentry, sorry about that one, and I didn't break into your shag shack and steal your subs...that was Brumlow

8. i love bacon!!!! what is your fav way to eat bacon? just by itself, on a sandwich, in your grits? lol
from: Stephanie
Glad to hear we both share the same love. I will eat bacon any which way but loose. If I had to narrow it down, it would be with my hands. It can be make anyway, be any thickness, be eaten in any state, any time of the day or night, but it has to be handled with my hands. I am not afraid to pick it out of any meal and eat it alone...

7. how old were you when you got your first bike?
from: Mike Losness
My first bike was around 10. That thing broke in half. So I had to save up and buy my own. My dad was sick of me breaking cheap bikes, but didn't want to pay for something nice. So off to work I went. Then the Mongoose was bought when I was 12 and it started doing tricks right under me...

6. How did you get on Jerry Springer?
from: Lake
My roommate called the 800 # every night, I mean every night. So finally they called us and asked what we do. I tried to explain to them but they really didn't understand. So we made a video of us doing our thing...they loved it and BOOM we were acting gay to pick up women. My dad didn't like that episode at all...

5. Is your beard like Samson... makes you stronger and more whipped on the bike?
from: Arielle Martin
The beard is a coating so food can trickle off and it won't harm my sensitive skin. Not having food on my skin is pretty nice and I suggest trying this method. Plus a beard is low maintenance and makes those baby face fools looks like little non-hairy wimps that you want to throw in a dumpster.

4. what does baco mean/stand for? thanks! jd.
from: joshd
It means everything and all things that are good and great, like bacon without the "n"

3. Hey Chad! How did you get into BMX?
from: Stephanie
Parents wanted to get us out of the house, so they bought us bikes. We would ride them all over, go downtown, and just get into trouble. All the trouble we got in was so easy to get out of with a bike. No one could catch us. No one. Bikes made it possible to leave and go where ever. It is pretty fun to be on top of the world specially when your 12. I was a little cocky, can't lie to you.

2. wow, I am going to ask myself a question...ohh dang, froze up...bacon
from: Chad DeGroot
I do eat a lot of bacon, why not? coffee, mudd, and bacon. Big shout out to all the pigs...thanks buddies.

1. hey chad! how do you drop in on a 5 1/2 quarter on a BMX Bike?
from: Spencer
Wow, that is a good one. Two ways, either just do it, or try a smaller ramp. Wedges are perfect for this...a small ramp has the same feeling as a big ramp. I mean the same motion you use to drop in. Its a confidence thing for sure. Try some smaller ramps, use that same approach and go for it. You will be surprised when you pull it first try...then its on to bigger ramps. Hope this helps...
