13. If you had the chance to change your professional and be anything else in the world, what would it be?
from: Tim Dinger
professional surfer!

12. Your family, sisters? brother? only child? do you fight with them ?
from: Mitchie
I have four older brothers... and we had our moments when we were all younger, nothing bad though, just sibling rivalry . Now we're all amazing friends and i actually live with my brother Elijah in Tahoe, and then Abe lives across the meadow. My parents have always been supportive in expressing that life is what we make it, and its all about following your passion.

11. what are your favorite things to ride
from: Alexi Macou
things? like objects? or maybe terrain? well dropping pillow lines at Sierra Tahoe is pretty off the hook! I am for sure hooked on the half pipe too! Try to balance all the goodness out! .

10. was winning gold in the Olympics one of your goals in life?
from: Alexi Macou
going to the big O was definitely a goal, but the rest of it was icing just on the cake. I was winging it while being there cause i was hurt at the time, and just taking it easy. Kept the thoughts positive and the yoga/mediation up, and things went welL!

9. Why do you think women's snowboarding and just snowboarding in general has grown so much in the past 8 years?
from: Josh Patton
probably cause it's so fun! progression happens fast when it feels natural!

8. how does a 12 year old get sponsored FAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
from: shredhead
keeps a good head on their shoulders while following a passion that has the light burning bright! this passion being snowboarding.

7. Has your perspective changed on the Olympics since winning the Gold Medal in 2006?
from: Tricia Byrnes
Before going to the Olympics, I didn't really know what to think about it. For sure it would be a big deal to go and an honor, but what did it really mean?? I got a taste of it's meaning, and discovered that the opportunity to shine in this world and make a differance was possible, not only for me, but for all countries, all nations. I discovered the Olympics is an event that is suppose to bring everybody together to participate in an event, no matter what race, what gender, what occupation, showing their skill and trying their best. That's what I felt there and it was awesome.

6. How and Why did you decide to create Hannah's Gold?
from: Tricia Byrnes
The creation of a way to help starving and homeless kids is a dream that was brewing in my brain since I was young. The Olympics almost made it too easy to start something, and I wish I had it going beforehand, because of all the media opportunities I had, but better late then never! Growing up on maple syrup and making it with my family was a big thing in my childhood. Because it meant so much to me, it is such a perfect item to have dedicated to helping other people. hannahsgold.com

5. Now that you are finally 21, what is your favorite adult beverage?
from: Tricia Byrnes
Well, I told Jimmy Kimmel that it would be amp and tequila, so I'll stick with that for now!

4. How did you get involved with sponsoring and supporting your village in Africa?
from: Tricia Byrnes
Linking up with world vision ( one of the biggest humanitarian relief groups in the world) helped me decide on sponsoring Kirindon Kenya. It's for sure hard to sponsor a town so far away...especially when some children in America live in poverty, but knowing how far money goes in third world countries, it felt right to make a commitment to this town...and be one of their soul supporters. I am going there at the end of October with some friends and family and I will get to see first hand what wonderful changes that our support can make for people who have so little and live in the midst of the AIDS epidemic.

3. Who is your biggest influence?
from: Tricia Byrnes
My family . my parents have always let me be free to experience and perceive the world with my own eyes, not forcing any sort of judgment. And my brothers helped me to fully discover my athletic side while being the best role models throughout child hood till the present moment. Everything you experience matters the most when you're being influenced and growing up as a kid, and I thank god I got hooked up with a solid family, creating my foundation of soil that has allowed me to sprout to my fullest .

2. Five things you can't live without?
from: Tricia Byrnes
yoga mat, lavender essential oil, journal, planet earth series, and organic deodorant. (plus maple syrup)

1. What would people say is your biggest accomplishment and what would you say it is?
from: Tricia Byrnes
Some might say the Olympic Gold Medal is my biggest accomplishment, and some others might say that my charity is, but I would have to say that getting other athletes and inner city kids involved in changing the world for the better is my biggest accomplishment so far because the ripple effect always has the most impact in the end. ______________
