Snowboarding slayer, Jamie Anderson, is answering the Who? What? Where? Why? And How? from the Go211 community as she prepares total world domination on both the TTR and BGOS tours. At 18 Jamie is already a legend in the snowboarding community, with several X-Games Gold medals to her name, wins in both Slopestyle and Pipe on the Burton Global Open tour and photos gracing the pages of every major snowboarding magazine. So ask this south lake Tahoe native anything and everything about having the biggest and best family in snowboarding, filming epic video parts and where the party is at.....fire away she's all yours.....

16. How long have you been playing the guitar and how good are you?

well, i took a class in the fall, but since then i haven't played much...i need to get back into it! im not so good

14. What's it like defending your TTR Title?

hah, umm I donno....just trying to ride well at all the contest's im doing this year. sucks i got hurt like right in the middle of the season and missed a few big contest's...but what ev's, it is what it is!

13. When did you first start snowboarding?

hey Sarah, I started when I was 9....my 2 older sisters started just before me and i was stoked to start!

12. What age did you start to take snowboarding seriously and realize it could be your career?

I would say about 14. that was when i won my first pro contest! I was soooo stoked!

11. when did you get you nose pierced? i want mine done and my belly button but mum is like you have to wait till you leave home, so I have like 4 more years to go! and how do you train in the summer?

haha, that's great! my mom actually let me get it for my 13th or 14th birthday... you'll be 18 before u know it, then you can do whatever u want! summer training ?? swimming in tahoe, riding my bike, hiking a bunch....and i usually go to the NZ and AUS opens..

10. So what was it like in High School with all the fame?

haha, it was actually pretty mellow..I did home school from 9th grade till I graduated, so that was much easier....there was no way I could have gone to school full time, it was hard enough to be home every other week to meet my teacher!

9. do you have any pets?

yes, I have a dog and 3 cats they're great!

7. hey jamie hows your hip? do you have anything you always do before a competition, like and rituals or superstitions? have you finished high school yet?

hey polly, my hip is doing much better :) before contest, i just like to listen to good music the hype's me up! and yes i graduated last june, sooo stoked!

6. You've won X-games, Opens and a slew of other events, what's your favorite event to compete at and why?

I really like the x-games. my whole family comes out and its always a super fun course!

5. What are some of your goals both on and off the hill?

Well on the hill, I want to learn how to ride pipe better, and of course learn some new tricks on jumps...and off the hill I just want to stay healthy and in shape!

4. What/who has been the biggest influence on your snowboarding?

When I was younger and first started snowboarding, Tara Dakides was my role model! but now a days I really am influenced by younger riders like Mikkel Bang, Danny Davis, Peetu, or however u spell is name! they're all such progressive riders and have really good style!

3. If you could have one superpower what would it be?

2. What's the most progressive thing to happen to women's snowboarding?

I would say just girls stepping up and hitting bigger jumps and competing on the same courses as the guys...

1. What would a perfect day in the life of Jamie Anderson consist of?

Being home in tahoe, having it snow like 4 feet the night before then be sunny, making some good breakfast and shredding with all my friends at home!
