2. How if at all has the Olympics changed BMX? Do you plan to make a push for 2012?
from: Tricia Byrnes
I’m not sure how the Olympics have changed BMX. BMX has received a little more T.V. time and some good publicity leading up to the Games and after, but I am not sure how that has affected local programs. It was great to see our sport in such a high profile event and it gives younger athletes something bigger to shoot for than just national titles. I personally don’t plan to pursue the 2012 Games as I have decided to focus the rest of my career on the ABA and NBL national circuits.

1. Best advice you ever received?
from: Tricia Byrnes
My dad always taught me to believe in my abilities. He seemed to always have a greater confidence in what I could do on the track than I did, and he taught me to not be afraid to fail, but just give my absolute best.
