15. Do you have a favorite Dave Brumlow story you could share? from: Jay EgglestonIt's hard to narrow it down to one. A good one is when we arrived at a hotel in Richmond, Virginia in 98. We were all checking in at the front desk and Dave walked around to the courtesy phone. He called the front desk and asked them to page a Mr. Mike Hunt who was in the lobby. The front desk lady set the phone down, yelled to all of us 'which one of you is Mike Hunt?' |

12. What's your favorite trick to do? To watch someone else do? from: Jay Egglestonright now, it's 3 double whips. scary and fun at the same time. I really like watching 540's on vert. that trick looks amazing. the one you did in Seattle last year was one of the top 5 best ones I've ever seen. |

11. If you could no longer ride BMX, what would you do? from: JennyPennyMBHmm.... good question. I went to college with the plan to be a teacher, but i'm not sure i'd want to do that anymore. In the past ten years I've gotten much more into fitness, so maybe i'd pursue that. I always dreamed of running a record label, too... |

9. Hey Tom, have you always ran front brakes, and what do you like best about having them? from: Josh Pattonwell, i've always had a front brake on my flatland bike from day one. before i rode ramps i only rode street and dirt so i didn't have a front break on my bike then. when i started riding ramps in 1995 i put one on and it's been on my bike since.
the best thing about front brakes is 540 nosepicks- i love that trick! |

8. hey i am a beginer at bmx and i am trying to learn the baics so what is a tip for getting my back tier off the ground in a bunny hop from: bmxkiddoing a bunny hop involves using your arms and legs. you have pull up with your arms and then kick your legs up after that, bringing your knees up to your stomach. the best way to learn it is to start by learning how to bunny hop up a curb. after you can do that you can start trying higher things.
also, remember that in a bunny hop your front tire comes up a split second before your back. don't try to lift both tires at the same time. |

7. what is your favorite trick?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// from: Jaredthat is always changing... yesterday it was 540 tailtaps on a spine. today it's likely to be something completely different. usually whatever i'm working on at the time is my favorite trick. fakie stuff is always fun, though- usually my favorite tricks are fakie related. |

3. What's the best thing to happen to BMX? from: Tricia ByrnesBest thing to happen to Bmx is the overall acceptance of it into media and the mainstream- that has allowed so many riders to make a living doing this. howver, this is also the worst thing to happen to Bmx because it has allowed a lot of control of Bmx to be taken away from those who participate in it and has thus been misrepresented many times. |
