What is your favorite mountain?
from: clipgirl
i have a lot of them.. i still live on the east coast at sugarloaf and for the east it is for sure the best place to ride for natural terrain. out west i love snowbird, jackson hole and really my favorite is mt. baker up in washington.. there is so much snowboard history at baker and there is amazing terrain access out of bounds there. plus they get ridiculous amounts of snow.

With all of the inquiries and media attention around HGH and steroid use, the retraction of medals from fellow olympians; has drug testing effected your life and is there a need for it in professional snowboarding?
from: murf
it has affected my life because i have been living within the system of the world anti doping agency and the u.s. anti doping agency for close to ten years now. and the reality of reporting to an agency to let them know of your whereabouts for every day of your life affects you.. personally it makes me feel a little like i was living in Orwell's 1984 and big brother is always looking over your shoulder. i mean i can not go surf for a few hours without the fear of missing an out of competition test because my cell isn't in my wetsuit. it sucks..now my personal belief is that within the snowboard community there are people doping in the way of what they are looking for. i know of one Italian girl who was busted for steroids years ago but that is it. snowboarding isn't the type of sport where you want to be all muscle bound and huge. your knees just won't last if you have extra weight on your frame every time you flat land

Tell us something about yourself that your snowboard fans don't know...
from: Lisa Kosglow
i am obsessed with my overly energetic cat and can hear him batting something around the upstairs bathroom floor over my head right now..

After world snowboard domination, what are your plans when you finish competing?
from: Lisa Kosglow
well the game plan all along was to move in to powder retirement mode which is slowly coming into effect. follow the Jeremy Jones model and start freeriding my winters away. but at the same time i am still having fun with competitions and the lure of the Olympics is a big so it is a transition that will work its way out over the next six years. then for the after after snowboarding.. well much more surfing. go back to school and study things that are of interest to me. have a family one day and golf a lot..

Whats your favorite part of GO211?
from: Billy
the whole live web cast is killer to have the world's best events streamed right into your home is something that the whole action sports community was horribly lacking in except for the surf world. so for me to be able to sit here and watch the halfpipe go down at laax is just sick!

Seth-Non Sports Related Question. I know you own a bar. I am a part-time bartender. Drunk people get rowdy and the occasional fight breaks out. Anything crazy happen at your place?
from: Billy
all kinds of stuff from having people stalking our female bartenders to straight up fights dealing with throwing out underage kids who got wasted elsewhere and think that it entitles them to drink at your place, we have dealt with all kinds of messes. we just keep our friendly local constables on speed dial and hand the real problem children over..

Do you think you will go to powder camp in Utah and Jackson this year?
from: 1800therick
bow you are killing me.. well i want to really bad and i think the best scenario is a week before i head to a.k. cause Foley has me running around the world like mad.. funny you wrote in man i just woke up and the last thing i was dreaming about was watching a surf vid and you were in it surfing a big wave heat against Kelly Slater. like thirty footers big, you had a sick wave.. are you over in laax? see you at x next week..

What do people consider your greatest accomplishment and what do you consider your greatest accomplishment?
from: Tricia Byrnes
Most people would consider winning the Olympics as my greatest accomplishment, and for the most part i would too. but aside from that the progress i have made over the last five springs of riding in alaska is up there for me as well.

Why Maine?
from: Tricia Byrnes
Its my home and after living in Colorado for a couple years in the mid 90's I moved home to be closer to my family and train at Sugarloaf. its just always been a good setup for me and I get to spend more time with friends that I grew up with. the summers are nice, golf is good and when the surf is working its a best of both worlds scenario..

Who are your biggest influences?
from: Tricia Byrnes
Craig Kelly, Terje Haakonsen

If you could have a theme song what would it be?
from: Tricia Byrnes
eye of the tiger..

What do you most look forward to in a shred season?
from: Tricia Byrnes
powder and laughing alot when its so damn fun..
