GUJO-GIFU, Japan (Feb. 23) - Gregory Bretz (Mammoth Lakes, CA) was on the podium for a second straight weekend Saturday, finishing third in a FIS Snowboard World Cup halfpipe in Japan. U.S. Snowboarding rider Lindsey Jacobellis (Stratton Mountain, VT) was the top American woman in eighth. Zhifeng Sun of China won the women's event while Japan's Kazuumi Fujita took the men's win. The event wraps up with a PGS on Sunday.
