Today we set up the basecamp at ABA. Man, it was amazing just how many people were there. They ended up flying a little bit, but the clouds were in ad out all day. We decided t set up shop and do some sledding.
Wow- there are even dudes who fly kites here. This is gonna turn into a good tailgate.
The basecamp went together pretty quickly and without major snags.
In the afternoon we took the sleds up for a couple of runs. Visability was in and out, but it was cool to get a couple of turns in.
Host Nick Perata cranks a turn off in some hot pow lower on the mountain.
Webcast Director, Beaver worked late into the night to get the first days update done. The second one should wrap a little earlier today.
