People of the internet! What up!
Just thought I'd give you all a little re-cap of my previous trip to Japan.
It started off by leaving Quebec City with my friend Dylan Bidez and I. Neither of us had ever been to Japan, and we heard from some friends that it was quite the adventure to get there. We thought nothing of it, and pursued our trek.
It actually turned out that arriving to that particular spot in Japan was even more difficult than everyone had mentioned. However, 24 hours, and hundreds of hand gestures (our only form of communication) later, we finally made it.
The contest ended up being super fun, but my results were a little unfortunate. I missed finals in both halfpipe and slopestyle by one spot... awesome. At least there was a super good crew of our friends there, such as the Mitrani brothers, Jeremy Thompson, Sage K, Mason Aguirre, and tons more who made the trip so memorable.
One of the most fun times I had this trip was night riding with Dylan, and Jake and Luke Mitrani. We shredded a little too hard.
All around good times in Japan though, and I'm definitely looking forward to going again.
