Much like a "choose your own adventure" novel, Mister L and Aimée were presented with two paths to consider for their musical journey. They could create watered-down, easily categorized music that the majority of society would enjoy. Or, they could play music that they, themselves, enjoy. 28-200 chose the latter and decided to manufacture tunes as they were imagined without worrying about fitting into a specific musical pigeonhole. The duo has a unique sound that is hard to classify and, as a result, does not have millions of friends on MySpace.

28-200 does, however, produce original songs that fuse rock guitars with electronic rhythm. They utilize synthesizers to produce both traditional and non-traditional instrumentation. And, every now and then, 28-200 uses uncommon vernacular in their lyrics.

One last thing, people seem to find it interesting that the two are married...to each other.
