After China I got on a training program and even though it has only been about two weeks and I'm sure it hasn't taken any effect on me yet, I just feel better. I am finally being active again!! I got in to Georgia this morning and slept for probably three hours when we got to the hotel before I put my bike together and headed to the track for practice. The track is really short but has a long first straight so hopefully that will work to my advantage. It isn't very technical, there aren't really any BIG jumps, and its pretty dusty, but the race should still be fun. Good competition at least.
At first during practice I felt slow, but then I realized my brakes were rubbing hardcore, so once I got those fixed I felt faster again. I have a feeling this race will go better than the past have been going because i feel more mentally ready for this race.
We have another practice in the morning and then racing starts at 11. So wish me luck and I'll update you tomorrow night!
