It rained hard core last night and the track was pretty wet this morning. There was another delay today, it was about an hour and a half. The track was pretty wet/soft to start out with but by the end of the day it was getting pretty solid. I dno't know how considering how muggy it was and cloudy for part of the day but it did.
I won today so that was a big confidence boost but I was a little disappointed that Dominique crashed on the second jump first moto and didn't race anymore, so I didn't really get to race her. I guess i'll take it though..I needed the win. There were some other pretty bad wrecks today, Denzel Stein and jason Carnes. Carnes was wicked....seperated shoulder and his wrist bone was popping out of his wrist...it was wild. he was in surgery last I heard.
Speaking of surgery, the little girl from MN that lost 4 fingers is in ICU right now after 16 hours of surgery and 2 surgeons working on her...I hoep all goes well for her. She's in my thoughts and prayers. Today at the track i even made an announcement for her and collected donations and many pro jerseys and number plates for the silent auction to be held next weekend at the minnesota national....trying to think of other ways to raise money yet too.
But my flight is SUPER early in the morning...gotta get back home and get on it! ....gettin ready for roseville!
