Well, it's now Tuesday and the grands have been over for 2 days. I am proud to say that I defended my National Number One Women's Pro title and beat my biggest competition, Mariana Pajon. It was definitely some good racing action and it made for a good show. Anyways, now I'm faced with the dilemma of choosing between a dirtbike and a 4wheeler...hmmm??? I don't know yet, haha. Overall I am pretty pumped on the situation though, I accomplished what I went there to do and I rode much better than I did in Florida a few weeks ago. (And I made it through that speech in front of like a bajillion people haha)
On the guys side of things, kb Kyle Bennett once again took the victory and rode awesome but was not able to capture the Number One AA Pro Title over Danny Caluag who was by far on top of the points chase. AA had TONS of awesome racing though, and it was amazing to watch.
After the races were over, my family attended the traditional Hooters dinner with a few other families...it was a good time but I was kind of sad the weekend was already over. Anyways, we got on the road right after dinner thinking we would get home early Monday...but nope, while everyone was sleeping my brother took the wrong highway and was not headed toward Minnesota for quite a while. So yeah, finally we all woke up and realized we were not where we were supposed to be and took a few hours to get back on track and continue our ride home...we didn't get home until much later than we had expected...haha
Now I'm back to school and a somewhat regular teenager life for a few weeks until Christmas Classic in Columbus, OH. Gymnastics is weel underway though and will definitely be keeping me busy up until March. I have my first gymnastics meet thursday night, and due to some missed practices while I was at the grands, I am feeling a bit nervous. haha, wish me luck though and I will ttyl.
