Billabong Pro Tahiti Day 4 Postponed (Sun, 11 May 2008 Posted at 01:30:00 PM)
Updated: 7:30am Sunday 11th May Well, it's a little bigger today. It's gone from dead flat to back up to around 2ft over night and while it's still not big enough to start round one, things are certainly on the improve. The weather is still as good as it gets with light offshore winds and barely a cloud in sight, but the swell (Which is on it's way) hasn't showed up yet. It's all pretty quiet at the end of the road this morning after the Donavon Frankenreiter concert last night went off at the Teahupoo Marina. Donny, along with special guest performers including a number of the top 45 surfers had a wild old time on sunset playing a free gig for the local Tahitian kids and families. Have a look at the photo galleries later today for the run down. Surfline has indicated a bump in swell for tomorrow afternoon (Monday) followed by a good run of mid sized waves for Tuesday/Wednesday, which should allow the opening rounds to get underway.
