On December 24th I left for the world junior championships in Australia. I was the number one seed from America and was stoked to be able to represent the country. The flight was very long, but once I got there and saw the beach it was beautiful! Here is a photo that was taken of the beach:
It was an interesting break. There was a canal that lead through which is seen at the bottom of the photo and a bridge near by that was really fun to jump off of after a surf!
When I finally got settled, I wound up staying with the most awesome family. The Mitchells! Since I arrived on Boxing Day, which is a huge Australian holiday and spent Christmas in the air it was time for some celebration with the family. They live on a beautiful Ranch with tons of horses,ducks,geese,cats,dogs and pretty much anything you can think of. Below are Pictures from Boxing day and the Family! After Boxing Day, I started to get down to the beach and have some fun surf sessions. Overall it was a great trip and cannot wait to go back!!!
