Go211 : Kelly Clark Blog Switzerland to Tokyo-Nippon OpenFri, 29 Feb 2008 - Posted at 04:40:08 AMjapan is one of my favorite places to come and I come here every year at least once but I have never done it straight from Europe . I know it sounds crazy but I went to Laax to shoot photos in the 22ft pipe before heading over here for the Nippon, that pipe is so good and I knew I could get some good photos and some solid video footage. Luckily I finished up early and got to spend one whole day in Reno before heading over here. Still it was quite a travel mission and i am finally staying up past 8:30. yeah  i told you i got some sweet photos. Like my new gloves? They Talk... So I am here in Alts Bandai, spent the night in Tokyo and went to my FAVORITE Korean BBQ place with Gretchen, Torah, Ellery and Tricia. Love that place it is so great and worth fighting the jet lag to have it. Below is a iphone photo of the maze of the Tokyo train system.  Tokyo! Train Travel in Japan.. As if travelling from Europe to Japan was not enough, we took the two trains and a bus to get to Alts Bandai. Pretty crazy but at least we have Izumi to translate and a solid crew of people to make the journey more fun. I taugh Ellery how to double decker her board bags so her forearms wouldn't hurt. Train travel with duffels and board bags takes some skills especially over here.  night time in Shibuya.
