Another Year and x-mas has come and gone. Went home to Chicago to visit pops and hang out with the family over x-mas. That was good and I saw a few friends from my old home town.
Off to X-mas classic and a pretty easy drive for once. Went there with 2 of my friends Kris Lundgren and Joey the Goose Woltjer. Goose is moving in with me after the race and we will be gettin our train on so look out for the Goose in 08. Practice went well and we were on to watch the Presidents cup from the sidelines. Woke up to finding out that some crackhead had broken 2 of our windows and stole absolutely nothing. Goose had to make some phone calls to get that handled. Fun Fun!
Friday racing was going pretty well. I won my first lap. 2nd moto I tried to charge the deep rythm section fast and got bucked off that horse pretty quick. I found out that I couldn't go that fast thru that deep rythm section with my short legs. ha ha Made the main and had lane one. Late gate, bobbled the double, then bobbled the stepup-step down, came into the turn under Carnes and Percy. Little bump in the turn and Domingos got undeneath me. He held me out to the Pro section. Decided to hit the pro section, but with all the madness in the first turn I was about 2 cranks shy of hitting the whole section. Jumped the first one and transfered back in. Ended up 6th overall and I was pretty disappointed with that lap. Saturday I was going pretty well and made it to mains. I was in between Jason Carnes and Percy Ownes. I had a really good gate and got the holeshot. I ended up winning the main and getting in a good score for the title early in the season.
I was also pulling double duty with GO211.com by doing interviews and such. Hopefully they turned out well and people enjoyed them.
Well I am going to Goodyear AZ next and maybe Reno if I can find a flight and hotel etc.. Hope everyone had a good x-mas and play it safe on new years because there are some wild cats out there at night.
