Well the last 2 weekends have been crazy traveling and all that jazz. Went to PHX for the NBL National and had a blast. Troubles getting there included a nights stay in Cincinatti (80 bux) and them losing my bike the next day. Busted my ass in the 2nd straight in practice and I still have a large purple bruise on my thigh. Racing went well. Got lane 7 in the main and decent start to 4th in the first turn, got by Gul in the 3rd straight for the 3 spot behind Fallen and Holmes. Sunday it rained so it just doubled our scores. Wish I had another shot at a win though. The PHX track was rad with the best dirt turns I have ever ridden. Amazing!! Props to those guys. Also my boy Jason Carnes crashed really hard and crushed his kidney. He was in ICU for quite a while. Talked to him yesterday and he had a stint put in and he is going to keep all his body parts. Good to hear, heal up quickly Carnes..
Guthrie OKC was webcasted this past weekend and it was a fun race for sure. The AA turnout wasn't as big as usual due to the UCI race in Spain the next week, but it was still good. Montalvo, Kyle and Brett handled covering the racing action and I stepped in to do some on-camera stuff. Good weekend of racing even though I didn't place well. Drama between Holmes and Romero as you can read on any of the forums.
I have about 4-5 weeks to get some training in and I am looking forward to it warming up here in NC. See you guys at West Palm next.....
