Well Oldsmar didnt go as well as I had thought, but it was a good time needless to say. The weekend started off with a 9 hr drive down with Goose and Ol Slurry Murray. Track was nice and smooth with paved turns. First moto on Sat started with a crash. Domingos got a little loose in the 2nd turn and ended up clipping my back wheel. He went over the turn with rupe and I hit the deck shredding my jersey. Another highlight was my semi on Sat. I came out of the first turn in 2nd and took the lead by the second turn. Well when I was coming down the 3rd straight I noticed a soft tire. By the time I went into the last turn I was riding on my rim with a flat tire in the lead of my semi. I pedaled as much as I could until the tube came out and got caught up in my chain. I then girl-pumped the rythm section to the finish line. I got 4th by about 8 inches. It was pretty funny. I then had to replace my tire and tube etc... Big thanks to the guys at J&R for being there and taking care of me at my time in need. Kirk is a stand up guy that actually goes to the races. Gotta love that.
Ended up the weekend with a 7th and 4th. Not as good as I had hoped, but I was feelin like crap all weekend.
