Man what a weekend. A long trip that went differently in my head. Flight out there was nice as I got upgraded to first class and I wasn't complaining about it. Rich from GO211 pcked me up and got me to the hotel. Friday comes around and we head to the track to get everything going. Few laps of practice and everything is going well. First moto rolls around and I head into the first turn and bonk the triple and had a hard crash for the first moto of the day. Not the way I wanted to start my weekend. head into 2nd moto and I get the holeshot and I am leading to the rythm section where I unclip and hit the deck again. Not fun. So Friday is shot and loking to Saturday to make up for it. Sat comes and end up getting thru motos and semis to the main. Had gate 1 next to Romero and thought I had a good pop, but he just motored me. Going into turn one Willy got a little loose and ended up coming into me taking both of us out. It was pretty funny and we were laughing about it. Sunday I won my first 2 motos and sat in the 3rd round. Go into semi and unclipped the second pedal out of the gate, couldn't make up enough ground and took 5th in the semi. Not a good racing weekend for me, but I had a good time.
Well on Saturday night Sun Bru had a little shin-dig set up with a stunt show, bikini contest, and Cru Jones from the Movie RAD!!! We headed out there and had a blast. Mikey Day, DR, Romero, "Hollywood" Tyler Brown, and Georege Costas from Rennen were the bikini judges. It was pretty funny and I have a ton of pictures. It was pretty cool to see Cru Jones in the house. I had to get a pic and autograph being that I watched that movie a million times back in the day.
