Well I went up to the DS race at Hobby Park this last weekend. Mike from Pauls organized the whole thing, so I have to give mad Props to him and everyone else who pitched in to make this race happen. I qualified 1st, which gave me lane choice for the day. (thats always nice) Ended up getting to the finals with moto mike and when the gate dropped I had the best start for the day. Came out well and Mike spun out a little bit. Ended up taking the win for the day with a few extra bucks in my pocket. There was a little dirt jumping session going on after the race and I took a hard digger on a under rotated 360 table. Hit the deck pretty hard and jacked up my wrist. I don't think its broke, but its sore aas hell. As long as its not broke I should be able to get back on the bike in about a week or so. Thats what I get I guess? That meand no riding/sprints this week :(
I don't get too many chances to ride the big bike, but I am always looking to ride it somewhere. If there are any races around the southeast hit me up. I only get to ride that bike like every few months or so.
Well It looks like the race in Vegas in Oct has changed to a Big-A race/ UCI. No Elite series for me :( I guess I will see all you clowns at the Disney Orlando ABA Race, then ABA Grands........
