Well I know I forgot to post this up right after the race, but I have had some time constraints lately.
Anyhow, Woodbridge went pretty well. It is one of my favorite tracks on the east coast for sure. I stayed with Phil, Goose, and my gf. Va had a ton of rain coming up to the race and the track was in pretty bad shape on Friday. The staff there did an amazing job and re-worked just about every bad spot on the track. There was a step-up into the second corner that they fixed the night before and it was still soft. As it turns out, their sprinkler system had sprung a leak that kept the jump soft. Out came some plywood and everything was a go.
Felt really good down the first straight and I ended up winning both days. It is the first win for me this season and it was cool to double.
I have been riding industry nine wheels for a few yearsnow and they ended up coming to Woodbridge for their first race. They had some wheels on display and there was a good buzz comig from people. If you want to check them out go to www.industrynine.net. Even hit up some trails in Richmond on the way home with Louie & Chris from I-9, fun for sure..
Few pics from the weekend. Thanks t Mike Carruth, Culbreth, and my man Jrod for the sweet pics.
