Well you may or may have not heard that I have decided leave the Formula Factory team. Things just didn't end up working out and I decided that it was time for me to leave. No hard feelings or anything. I have had a good time with Formula and I am excited to see what opportunities might come up. We shall see if anyone is interested in a clown like me, ha ha ha..
Not to much else going on in NC, just a ton of rain! It seems that everytime I go to the track it is raining or it starts raining about 10 mins after I get there. A few weeks ago we had so much rain that the creek by my house overflowed and my street was flooded. It was crazy. The weather channel came out and everything, no flooding my house being that its on a hill.
My roomate Goose will end up helping Will Greathouse up at Woodward camp this summer. Bummed that we won't be able to ride this summer, but stoked that he will be getting faster and have a great place to ride all sumer. I would love to go with him, but I have that whole job thing that I have to do, ha ha
The Steak and Potato Open will be going down this weekend at the Lexington BMX track. This track is simply amazing! pro straight and 2 rythm sections. Its going to be a fun race. From what I hear Upshaw, Zula, Josh Smith, Charles, Hunt, Tome Opincar, Jason Larev, Gavin Lubba, Petey Peters, Chase Hines, Justin Posey, JT, Meaker, Sherill, Goose, Hinson, Potosack, maybe Logan Collins are just some of the fast cats coming down. (Not to mention some of the fast locals) We are going to have a Time Trial that will give the top times lane choice. $25 to enter and you get a steak and potato dinner. What could be better? Plus I am sure we will have a Texas Hold Em tournament later on where Todd Hines will take everyones money, ha ha Its going to be great.
