Man what a long weekend. A little re-cap from the Grands. Track was good and the only complaint that I heard was about the gate. That thing needs to get fixed for sure. Get a Pro-Gate system in there like Nashville. Took gate 8 in the main on Friday night and got hung out to dry on the outside. 6 spot for me on Friday night. Saturday I ended up racing open, due to my man Doug-E-Fresh givein me crap about it. Saturday night get to the finals after having to come back from 6th in the semi. Decent first straight and a few bumps in the first turn drop me back. Passed 2 people and took a 4th. That gave me some points for the year end title and ended up taking home #2 for the year behind buddy Dale. Tome Opincar with the #3. John Purse decided to show up this year and basically got boo'ed for taking people out. A littel drama between him, Albright and Percy, but I will leave that to the rumor mills.
Stump-dogg was killin it all weekend and took home the win in Elite. Didn't give him enough points for the title, but he was on the gas just like he has been almost all year. Maris took home the title. Josh Meyeers took home the super-X title with Farao and Kelty taking home wins. Alise Post won the Grands, but Dominique took home the #1 for the year.
My Carolina Crew did pretty well this year. Cameron Moore took home the win, along with Cole Tezar, and Justin Posey. Chase Hines was also killin it even though he cracked his collar bone 2 weeks ago.
Gotta give out some well wishes to Austin for Rennen/Intense. He crashed on Thursday and ended up lacerating his Pancreas. no good. Get well soon buddy. Also Madden took a digger and broke his arm pretty bad. Heal up soon guys.
