It has been a while since I've let everyone know how things were going race-wise. That's because the last couple months I've only had two races! Don't worry, I will be busy the rest of the year and with the down time in between races I guess I've been keeping myself busy trying to find a way to climb to that next level of performance.
Although, during the ABA Bakersfield, CA race May 1-3, things weren't headed in the direction I would have liked them to. Partly due to some changes I was trying with my component setup, I was kept out of the final both days. This was very hard on me emotionally, but it meant I was headed back to the drawing board.
My next race was at an NBL event in Fresno, CA May 15-17. This time the changes I made were in the positive direction (I went at it more scientifically). I was able to come home from the weekend with a 2nd and 3rd. I felt a lot better, and yet again, the podium for Sunday's race contained the riders from the Olympic podium, which is always cool to see.
Beginning in Bakersfield and continuing through Fresno, GO211.com has allowed me to be their main commentator during their BMX event coverage. As you all know I love being in front of the camera and this has been a great experience. GO211 has a huge partnership with the U.S. ARMY, so their presence at the races has been increased big time. Here are a few clips of me in action from the last two ARMY STRONG SPORT TOUR BMX events.

Last but not least, I was invited to attend a Bike Fair at the El Centro school in Napa, CA. Always good times being in front of kids and telling them my story. It's an amazing way to help grow the sport of BMX Racing.
I'm now in Delaware getting ready to start off 5 weekends in a row of racing.
Thanks
