Rain, rain go away... Last week was the So Cal Nationals and it was a wet one. Didn't make it out of quarters on day 1. In cruiser I ended up hitting the gate. I was in last and started picking off riders and ended up getting 4th.
Day 2 was better. Finally made the main event. Been on a dry spell. So it was nice for a change. The main didn't go as I would like but luckily I stood up especially with the wet condition.
Yesterday I went to Supercross in San Diego with Stephanie. It was pretty cool we hung out with Afton, Brian and his girlfriend. Luckily the rain held off and it was a clean race. James Stewart was hauling there. It was ridiculous. It won. Chad Reed got 2nd and Andrew Short got third by picking off riders here in there.
The race was really exciting. With the fireworks and lasers. It was crazy. The whole show was just great. No long delays. Everything flowed together. I wish BMX races were like this.
Next week is Florida hopefully the track is good. Hopefully the rain here in California goes away or holds off for a bit. We will see.
