So...Bakersfield was a couple of weeks ago. It was a good and bad weekend for me. I loved the starting hill that they had there.
On day one I made it out of motos easily and was in my semi when I got taken out and fell. I hurt my finger pretty bad, but still race the rest of the weekend. I was pretty heated about the situation, but I tried to take my heat somewhere else which was my next race. My next race was cruiser and I ended up winning that. The next day my finger was still hurting but I just taped it and took some pain medication and rode it out. I only made my semi and end up winning cruiser again.
So my finger was still in a lot of pain and I went to the doctors since I was supposed to leave in the morning for Denmark and didn't want to chance anything. When I went to the doctors I find out some bad news that I broke my finger and that I might need some surgery but I need to see another doctor. So I had to cancel my trip to Denmark and go to the doctors later that week.
Later that week I went and saw a doctor and she said that I didn't need any surgery. The unfortunate news is that I need to be in a splint for 6 weeks. So no racing for a while.
My broken finger.
Here are couple of pictures from a cruise that Stephanie and I took about month ago.
We are leaving today for another one and can't wait.
