Last month Stephanie and I went on a 4-day cruise to Ensenada. It was kind of a spur of the moment kind of thing. We totally enjoyed it.
I enjoyed it so much that I decide to take another less than a month later. And a 7-day cruise up to Canada. The trip was so cheap that I couldn't pass it up. It was only $229. It was outrageously cheap, and since I was broke off and didn't have a race for a while, so Stephanie and I decide to go.
We totally enjoyed it. The first stop was Astoria, Oregon. I have never heard of this place and was kinda of whatever about it at first. I guess they did a lot of filming in this area for some big name movies. Some of those movies are The Goonies and Kindergarden Cop. When we first got there it was pouring cats and dogs and very cold, but it stop a few minutes later and it was beautiful the rest of the day but still very cold.

The place is so beautiful. A lot of beautiful scenery in the area. The place back in the days was known for there canneries. They mainly canned salmon and I guess there were somewhere around 35 different companies at one time in the small community.
The community there gives you that small town feel. There seemed to be a lot of mom and pop shops in the area. Stephanie and I decided to go into one of the store and it was chocolate shop. The chocolate was a bit expensive and it had to be the best chocolate I every had in my life. It was from this place called Duffy's, if you every get a chance stop by and check it out
While we were there we went on to the world oldest operating trolley system in the US and probably the world it was pretty cool to know that. The conductors on there are all volunteers and pretty funny guys. Overall it was a cool place to check out.
