Squaw to Ventura-

 Spring time at Squaw is one of my favorites. Yesterdays event a Squaw was a blast. Just super fun, slushy riding. Little wind, but didn't mess us up too bad. Little bit of compression on the landings which by the end of the day broke a couple of the surfers and skateboarders. Stoked to watch those guys push is on snow and having fun too.

For finals we had two runs. My first fun this is how it went down, front 5 on a up/flat/ down box, switch front board on the down box, cab under flip, back 9 nose, revert, then backside rodeo and finished with a rock to fakie. Second run was trying to get rid of the revert on the bs 900 and after I landed the slush monster grabbed me. I tumbled and broke the nose off my board. Still had a smile on my face cause it was such a damn good time. The 3rd place will help give me a good over all standing too.

I am now in Ventura and just finished surfing Silver Strand down in Ventura, where Dane Reynolds was busting out some crazy aerial maneuvers. The surf part of the Ultimate will be held at C street tomorrow in Ventura. This is the best part of my job, when things like this come along.
