As many of you know, my life is comited to our lord Jesus Christ and sometimes I can really feel his presence! Sometimes it is in a life lesson. I drove to San Fran to fly to New Zealand the other day. I made the drive to save a few hundred dollars. I left with plenty time to spare to get to the airport knowing I would hit traffic in Sacramento and San Fransisco. Well I didn't account for the hour I would loose in road construction going over the pass on I 80. Instead of trusting in the Lord that he will get me there, which is what I usually do and it always works out. This time I tried to take matters into my own hands and make up time by driving faster. I got a speeding ticket about 45 minutes later. Then I just cruised and put my trust in God I would get there and I made it with 5 minutes to spare checking in. I lost another 30 min getting the speeding ticket too, not to mention the money I saved on the airline ticket was now going to the Highway patrol. Perfect example of the consequences of trying to run our own life. Surrender! After a pleasent flight to NZ I got the blood moving in my legs again by skating the new skate park in Quenstown. How you like my bag train?
