26   arrive in Melbourne, Now I am sitting the Hilton lobby waiting for Ant Macca from red bull in the middle of my 4 hour lay over. Both of us are flying to Tazi at noon…  we arrive tazi jump in a car and drive a couple hours to our hotel… its dinner and in bed by 8pm, so tired…

27  Macca wakes me up at 6am and we get the cars loaded for the day and head out through all these pastures on the way to beach… then we launch 8 skis, 2 boats, and a heli for the day. We head out through nice calm water on the inside of an island, but as we make the turn to the open ocean it is out of control! 30 knot straight onshore and huge open ocean swells! I am riding in the boat and it is barley hanging in there…. We are going up 20 foot swells and almost perling on the way back down. Waves are slamming into the sides of the boat and coming from all angles. Then we get out to the waves finally and it is all over the place and 15-20 feet. It was a sand bar 35 miles out to sea in the Bass Strait between Tasmania and Australia. I towed into like 3 waves. It was like snowboarding but it was impossible to hook up the guys shooting in the water. The only way was to be under the heli. If you lost your board it was so stormy you would never find it, so we had to follow the heli and it would hover right over the waves to show us where it was. Then I crashed a ski and Tom Carrol and I went flying off and both crazy bruises on our right legs, haha! I tried to ride it out but the wave just ripped me off the ski and it got rolled over me! After that we headed in and got all the gear and boats back to our hotel, had dinner, and passed out by 9pm!
