Well I just got back from my 3rd national of the 2008 race season. I traveled down to Lexington, Va for the Blue Ridge Mtn National. The track was a disaster. There was a wreck in about every moto. I avoided a few crashes during the weekend. On Saturday was my first time there for 2 years and I was feeling rusty after Christmas Classic. My class ended up having 8 ppl in there. Moto 1!!! Gates 5-1-7!!! Get around pretty good...take 3rd. Moto 2!!! Same thing...3rd. Moto 3!!! I get a bad gate so watever I am in so I will save the energy for the mains. Mains!!! Gate 2!!! I get a good snap pulling about 4th down the 1st straight. The bottom of the turn is slippy and i slid so i moved back to 6th. 1 rider goes down in the turn so I move up to 5th, and I was not fast enough to take 4th. Day 2!!! It is cold,and I am tired and need practice. Moto 1!! I had a horrible gate but luckely a dude in our moto wrecked in the mystery corner so he settles for last. Moto 2!!! Gate is down...It is a not in situation if the wrecked kid gets 3rd. Down the first staight I look ahead and see the 2 riders in fromt of me and where is the other rider? I talked to him at the finish line he said that he came unclipped so I am in. Mains!!! 6 riders on the gate. I have gate 5. 2 riders that want to wipe me out on the outside of me and the inside. In the turn I pulled the high low to move up to 4th.Now I hit the crap 2nd turn and i almost got pushed off by a dude from accel. And he got away from me by like 5 bike lenghths so I just shut it down and have to settle with 6th for the race. This is the end!
