OK Day one at the LG Action Sports Tour here in Dallas is in the can. Let me drop some knowledge on y'all.

BMX Street

Well the schedule said BMX Vert, so I felt like an idiot as the only one standing next to the vert ramp.  Ohhhhh BMX Street.  Well why didnt ya say so?  By the way LG, when its indoor with ramps, um, its not street.  Its park. Got it?  Big surprise was 17 year old Garrett Reynolds absoultely killing it it in the first heat.  Daniel Dhers had something to say about it, though and rocked his prelim in the second heat to qualify numero uno.  Worgan Waaaaaaddde qualified third.  Alessandro Barbero from Mexico City broke himself off and had to be carted off the course.  Look like a broken collarbone.  Ouch.

BMX Vert

Big things goin down in the vert comp.  Well, what happened to Sandro Dias?  Homey was killing last year, not so rad this year.  But Sandro, who is the only guy to land a 900 in competition, tried the biggie again and landed it then slid out.  Damn it!!!  Very cool.  Attention shoppers:  Alex Perelson goes big. I repeat, Alex Perelson goes BIG.  The San Diego 16 year old was going HUG on the LG ramp.  Come to think of it, pretty much everyone was.  Talking to the competitors, this ramp is perfect for them and they love it.  Perelson finished the day third.  PLG is the man, qualified in first, Andy Mac, also a man, grabbed the two spot. 

Hung with Gentry and the Ridaz crew last night.  Good times.  Never knew you could pack that many people in a single hotel room.  Sweet.  Many hilarious happenings that I cant mention here. If you see me, ask, Ill fill ya in.  Lutzka is hilarious.

Kanye West rocked the after show.  Standing ten feet from him, all I could think was, "Damn, hes rich!"  Shouldve taken up rapping.
