I'm 25 yrs old from good ole Fresno California. My involvement in BMX was somewhat short lived. However, I've re-entered into the sport after 7 yrs of absence. I rode for 6 years starting when i was 13. I had a contract deal with Fox Racing, Was sponsored by Airwalk Shoes and Spy Sunglasses and have had many different frame sponsors. My main sponsor was Nick Herda out of las Vegas. I got nag 10 in 2002 without showing up to the grands. ( i was leading the NAG points race for 19-27x going into the grands ). You could call me a Stumpy local and he is a good friend to me as he was with my family to pick me up from prison. I owe that man alot that i'm not able to repay just yet but it will be done. He invited me over to his house at 13 years old and for the whole time i rode we were close friends as is him and the rest of my family. I spent 2 years in prison for some bad choices i made. It's been a blessing in disguise because I never acknowledged god or believed in him for that matter in the past. i was saved the day before i was arrested and was able to establish a close relationship with god. I love to study the bible every day at starbucks after the gym and before i go to the gym. I go to church many times a week and the reason for re-entering the sport of BMX is to start a BMX Ministry for Jesus. With all the great things going on with the Fresno BMX track i see that it's going to be more than possible. Shouts to the whole FBX crew, Stump, Robo, Brando, Steezy, Bittner, Mikey, Phillip, Tyler, Brent, Ryno, and anyone else!! |
