It's really easy and really hackneyed to start off a band bio by making it seem like their music is the new summer blockbuster. The only thing is this isn't that kind of band, and this definatly is not that type of music. McClane in essence is the perfect gathering of friends who musically and intellectually complimant each other perfectly. With a collective history of very different musical backgrounds from local pop-punk heros Kung-Fu Ma$ta to metal/hardcore roots of Backstabbers Inc, they had a lot to work with and infinite routes to take on musical direction. Blending their pasts together to create the perfect mix of melodic pop-hardcore that is unique and catchy enough to become an instant fan-favorite.

In the spring of 2004, they released a debut demo the same day of their very first show to high praise and acclaim for anyone who was willing to give it a listen. With an extremely aggressive push towards song writing, recording, playing shows and self-promotion McClane at an early stage got their name out into the very influential Boston punk and hardcore scene. Through the past two years they have recorded 2 more EPs full of new fast, ferious, and catchy music that have sold fast and has shown everyone that they are a force to be reckoned with. By playing many many shows across MA to show that their verocity is not just held within their recorded music, its in every bead of sweat of their live set.

With the completetion of their newest dyi produced ep recorded with longtime friend and producer Jay Maas at Getaway Group Studios (hammer bros, sluts, in remembrance, learn) in Wakefield MA and the reformation of the memebers wtih a new devotion to writing and rocking, McClane is ready to take on the melodic hardcore scene. Some rocks have been in the way of the road and some big obstacles have tried to hold the boys back from there destiny but they have passed by them with ease and their heads held high.
