As a snowboarder, I rarely get to experience the summer season, but when I do I love to hit the surf. I’ve been lucky enough to go on some trips with the Quiksilver guys and love everything about the sport. Surfing is very different to snowboarding but so much fun, not to mention challenging! I have a lot of respect for the surf pros and what they can do on a wave. That’s why I’m telling you to check out stop 5 on the ASP World Tour, the 2008 Billabong Pro at J-Bay, South Africa.
Day one produced some of the most amazing waves in tour history and GO211.Com is broadcasting it all LIVE! I’m cheering on the Quiky guys including Dane Reynolds and Kelly Slater, both can rip on this right hander and I expect them to be there at the finish.
