Hey Everyone,

I’m now back in New Zealand training after a short stay in Australia. One of the reasons for my trip to Oz was the YEN Magazine Young Women of the Year Awards (YWYA). The awards were created to support, inspire and recognise the achievements of women 35 years and under who are pushing boundaries across various fields. (I was lucky enough to win the overall and sports category award in 2006). This year, international model Miranda Kerr, actress Rose Byrne and myself are the ‘faces’ of the awards. To celebrate and announce this year’s nominees, YEN put on a cocktail party in Sydney – check out the photos I’ve posted.

Online voting begins 26 September which means you can visit YWYA and vote for your favourite women in each category!
