We.re All Broken formed in the Fall of 1996, but began under the moniker Unsound. They hit the tri-state area surrounding their native New Jersey pretty hard and submersed themselves into the flourishing hardcore, punk rock underground scene.
They have so much respect and admiration for all the people involved in underground punk rock, from the kids who book shows, rent the halls, garages, supply the basements, offer the floor to sleep on, do fanzines, do sound, sell merch, play in bands, as many of the Engineer Bands do. What makes We.re All Broken special though? WAB's commitment to creativity, originality and detail.
WAB strive to explore the art of song writing by experimenting and breaking boundaries, bringing forth new ideas, perceptions and dimensions and always pushing forward. It is a visible necessity to them. Anyone who has witnessed them live has beared witness to this dimension. WAB are intense musicians, not letting themselve leave the zone they create around them.
Does this sound pretentious? Quite possible, but believe us when we tell you We.re All Broken are nothing short of the real deal. Hardworking, intellectual, post-hardcore kids, taking the spirit of the music they grew up around, and administering it a facelift.
Prior to releasing their first proper full-length on Fidelity Records, the band decided a name change was due, and We're All Broken was crowned. The band has been hitting the pavement ever since, pushing their music to everyone's all the ears that'll listen.
With numerous tours under their belt, and still going...Engineer Records and Koi Records are glad to support their their first full-length on Fidelity, with a new "single" 7inch, along with exclusive B-Side tracks currently being recorded. We assure you, this single will be nothing short of jaw-dropping.
